Goodreads asked Abigail Hing Wen:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Abigail Hing Wen I work on multiple projects at a time, so when I'm stuck on one thing, I can shift to another. Or within the same project, I don't write in chronological order, so I work on the part that I feel emotionally connected to in that moment. I usually have enough work that there is always something to do, even if it's as simple as copyediting a nearly finished manuscript (which I'm doing now with Loveboat Reunion) or checking that there are three of five senses on every page, a writing tip I learned from a friend early in my writing journey. I also will share works with trusted readers who can give me feedback and that helps me push through hard sections.
