How do you get inspired to write?

Zanne Raby I actually do a lot of research. From learning about climate change to propulsion systems for space travel, I read and watch as much as I can so that my work (although fiction) has some basis in fact. For my upcoming novel, Frozen in Time, I travelled to the French and Swiss Alps to gather information, find locations for the settings, and get a feel for the local flora and fauna. I also visited the Otzi Museum in Bolzano, Italy in the beautiful Dolomite mountains to learn more about his life. I suppose you could say that travel is my inspiration.
