2 quick Q's about the reprints of your books under your given name: Spiders, What the Hell, and Futuristic Violence say "Includes a new Afterward!". Are these afterwards all different, or is it the same one across the board? Also, Zoey Punches says "Includes a sneak preview of Pargin's upcoming novel!" Is that a taste of JDatE 4? Thank you, as always, for your time.

Good question! They're all different!
Spiders - This has an essay about why this is my favorite of my novels and digs into my fascination with Dunbar's Number and how the human brain processes empathy.
What the Hell - This has an essay about why this is my favorite of my novels and digs into the concept of "Umwelt" and the horror of knowing every single person is perceiving a completely different universe.
Futuristic Violence - This has an essay about why this is my favorite of my novels and digs into the unintentional parallels between Arthur Livingston and Donald Trump, and how I hope the future doesn't see this as some kind of convoluted metaphor for the Trump years.
Zoey Punches - this includes the first several pages of the upcoming John and Dave book, the fourth in the series that does not yet have an official title.
JDATE - This has no new afterword, since we just did the 10th anniversary edition with all the tons of new material at the back so only the cover will change.

David Wong:
I wanted to write to say I adore all your books and the movie. They act as a warm blanket against my soul-quivering anxiety, and I have recently purchased the audio-book of JDATE and TBIFOS, because it allows me to drive without crying, which I've heard is generally good for not dying in a spectacular car crash. So I want to say thanks for helping me out, via your books. Is it weird to be thanked for writing?

Uh, hi. I'm from another reality where you take over the world. And I need you to answer this question so that I can go back in time and stop you. (Don't ask me how I know, it isn't very interesting and I'd probably spend about 45 years in prison.) But, if you were to go back in time and create a franchise that already exists now, what would you make? (You can change anything as long as the core concept is the same.)
