Of course you were talking about the Manor House. It's my place to apologize. I'm taking care of my husband after his stroke and my head isn't where it should be. I'm not sure about the time line of the Manor House series, since I wrote them about twenty years ago, but I believe you are right. You'll get a clearer picture with the last two books. And if the last book seems rushed, it's because the publishers ended the series before I was ready, and I had to beg them to let me change the ending. Thanks again for writing!

Sorry for my delay in responding to this, first - thank you for taking time to reply, many authors don't (I assume that a lot of people are asking questions and with their writing and their own lives they're too busy so thanks again) but I can only get the first 14 books in the Pennyfoot Hotel series in the UK, maybe Amazon's a bit slower in getting them for some reason..?
