How did blue eyes come into my DNA? My mother had green eyes. Her grandfather had blue eyes. I’ve always wondered how far back it goes. As blue-eyed Lakshmi says in THE HENNA ARTIST, “in a country of coal-black irises, blue eyes are not easily explained.” (BTW, I look like both my mother & father so no mystery there :-)

I would adore a graphic novel version of your books! I bet the artwork would be gorgeous. Also, it's a great way to reach readers in a different way, turns out some people process story better through comics than novels. Any idea when you might work on that project? Sorry to be impatient.
