This is actually something I plan to include in a story. I once opened the door to an old lady who insisted that my house was the key-cutter's shop. It wasn't until she turned away muttering that I noticed that the back of her coat and headscarf were covered in matted layers of cobwebs that looked as if they'd built up over years.
