I see you've written four books. Are they all part of a series? Which would you recommend I read first?

Thanks for your question! Three of my books are part of a series called The Virginia Mysteries. (Summer of the Woods, Mystery on Church Hill, and Ghosts of Belle Isle.) I've also written a stand alone short story called Pitch Black Dark. The series books can be read out of order, but as a way to meet the main characters, brothers Sam and Derek, why don't you start with Book 1: Summer of the Woods. All the stories are for ages 7-12, but the books get slightly longer as they go along. Hope you enjoy!

Hi Steven, Do the Virginia Mysteries need to be read in order? I saw that #3 is on sale for .99 at Amazon, but didn't know if I need to buy the other two first for my daughter. :-D Also, these are intended for middle school age, yes? They're not 'too young' or 'too old' for my 6th and 7th graders, in your opinion? Thank you!! Jules
