Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marbeth Skwarczynski All of my books deal with the fallout from spiritual abuse in today's churches. Book one, PLAGUE OF LIES, is all about betrayal due to a lie lived by one influential man and covered up by those in church leadership. Book two, TWISTS, TURNS, AND CURVES, explores the problems of sexism, sizeism, and the little-known issue of economic abuse that plagues those in the lower levels of full-time ministry. My latest novel is the third book of The Rose Collection, NO LONGER INVISIBLE, and deals with the very real problem of harsh and abusive punishment being used in the name of "discipline." My characters' journey into healthy recovery from abuse, despite it's lingering after-effects, is the crux of each novel.
