What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Jen FitzGerald Learn as much as you can, but listen to your gut and question everything! What works for a big name author isn't necessarily going to work for you. So many aspects of their life and circumstance are different from yours. Your personalities are different. The publishing market changes on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, so even that (especially that) is going to alter results.

If you cringe about something that BNA recommends, then it's probably not for you. At least not now. As you grow and mature as an author in terms of writing ability and knowledge level, you'll be able to better judge what *may* work for you.

Most of all though, just write!!
