Do I need to read The Bone Shard Daughter before the Bone Shard Emperor? The second one is available at my library, but the first one not till later this month.

Hi Susan! You’ll want to read the first book before The Bone Shard Emperor. I do try to recap a bit as the beginning goes along, but the first book is a precursor to the second, which picks up shortly after the first book ends.

Just finished The Bone Shard Daughter and loved it - really looking forward to the next one and November seems ages away!! Do you think there might be more than two in the series? I hope so as the characters are great and there's more to them yet, I can see that. Thank you!!
