Goodreads asked G.H. Monroe:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

G.H. Monroe Writing is hard, but it's not impossible, and it's fun. You just have to sit down, and do it. If you write 600 words a day, you can take weekends off and end up with 153,000 words in a year. That's two novels.

Next, be patient with your editing. Make four or five editing passes, have other people beta read for you, join a writing group. All of these things will help you see your errors, and improve your writing.
