Creating and release. Writing is such an amazing skill/talent/blessing. You can create your own escape from reality. Breathing life into a story that resonates with others. You can also use writing as a release, to indirectly say or do things you may not be able to in real life. To let go of or work through emotions that have a grasp on you. For me, it's definitely the creating part.
