How do you get inspired to write?

Peter Charron Inspiration is easy. I get new ideas everyday. It's deciding which to pursue that's the tough part. One good way, promoted by my mentor Nancy Kress, is when you read or hear about an event or discovery that interests you to ask what if this were taken to some ultimate conclusion. What if it went horribly wrong. What if it became a great success, what impact on society would it bring. There are hundreds of angles to every event to explore.
