I'm not sure I get/have writer's block . . . although I do go for walks (woods or beach is best) and let my mind wander while contemplating my story. And, I have a guinea pig . . . someone I can discuss/plan/edit my writing with to determine what works best as the story progresses. I usually take the guinea pig with me for walks in the woods which produces a win-win outcome and keeps away writer's block.
