I am interested to ask - how did you come to choose your thesis topic? Also wanted to say how great the voice actors in the audiobook are for Hush.

I came on here to answer another reader question and saw yours - I'm so sorry I somehow didn't see it when you wrote it. I think this reply is a case of better late than never!! Thanks so much for taking the time to write to me. So, I chose my thesis topic after reading a lot of YA dystopian novels where the mother characters were missing or very limited in scope, and I wanted to explore the effect of this on both readers and the young heroines in the novels. Seven years later I finally completed my thesis. The Hush was my creative response, and there's also a theoretical response which I'm hoping to publish.
And yes, you're right, the voice actors are amazing in the audio version!

Hi Sara, Are you planning any more books in the near future? I'm on my third book by you (Hidden Hours - I'm so excited!) and I've already got copies of the other two that I haven't read. But already I can tell this just isn't enough! I can't read your books fast enough and I know I'm going to be so so disappointed once I'm done!
