I'm with Stephen King on this one- sometimes inspiration doesn't happen and you got have to write even when you're not in the mood. I write at 5am every morning before my kids wake up. I am not inspired at this time. I'm tired as hell. But I write anyway, because by the time I get to 5:45am I am ready to tackle the day because my characters woke me up.
