Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Cege Smith I spent about two months binging on the TV show 'Fringe' on Netflix. I thought it would be really neat to write a story that marries supernatural and science elements- it's something that I haven't tried to do before as my stories to date have focused primarily on creatures (vampires, zombies, witches, etc.). I had a thriller suspense serial concept that I tried out in mid-2013 that just never took off so I pulled those down. With the new idea in mind, I rebooted that serial under the 'Mortality' title and have added some subtle paranormal elements that are really going to manifest themselves in a big way in the later installments.
