My short story "The City of the Tree" (https://uncannymagazine.com/article/t... ) takes place in that setting, and I have ideas for other short stories. I'd very much like to write a novel about Ree, but at the moment that's not on deck.

I love dragons and the way you wrote the Memoirs of Lady Trent. Thank you so much. I'm reading the forth book right now and wanted to know how was your inspiration for wrinting these books? I'm also a veterinarian especializing in large animal medicine and if dragons existed I would be the one trying to reach to them. So these books speak to me in so many levels I can't begin to describe, Thank you so much!

I loved loved loved the entire Lady Trent world. Audrey was a spitfire and an amazing addition to Lady Trent's story. I also read your short fiction "The Long Fall." So what do you think? Do Audrey and Aaron get together after all, years in the future? He's still at the Sanctuary 10 years after the Audrey's book, with the newly updated text. Is it enough of an olive branch for them to get a chance as older adults?
