For me, I'm inspired by real people who overcome tragedy by looking at the roots of their suffering... to learn and to grow... and to live their best life despite, if not because of, the challenges they've faced. From these real-life stories, my imagination flows to create a fictional work with this theme of a sort of transcendence from tragedy.
