If you had an accordion you could hike, play the piano while writing a song, all at the same time. Question: if you had your laptop you could read while writing stories; but could you also fence? I'm picturing audio-book narration here. Also saber, although I suppose a foil would allow for a more eloquent dialogue.

I think I have this figured out: strap the accordion against my neck (such as a violinist holds a violin) so I only require one hand to play it. An audiobook to listen to and a recording device to record a story at the same time. That leaves the other hand free for a weapon. I have yet to learn fencing, but I suppose it would!

Hi K.V. Wilson. Thank you for reading Van Man! Yes, I realize the first half of the book is pretty depressing. I drag the reader through some Serious Mud before I give them a break. But I want the reader to really HATE the bad guys, (Before they get what they deserve) haha. This is also so that the reader questions the social construct that each villain represents. So, which of yours should I read first?
