Inspiration for me comes randomly. Sometimes I'll be watching a TV show or reading a book and think: "Oh, man. It would have been so much more interesting if they had done ____ instead!" Or sometimes I'll be petting one of my cats and I'll get an idea from the glare she's giving me. I try not to go looking for it, since that never works out. I just let it come naturally.
