How do you get inspired to write?

R.L. Fink It depends. Sometimes an idea comes in a dream, sometimes, I'll be having a conversation with someone and something they said sounds like an interesting story. Sometimes it's an image I see that has the potential to be more. Of course, the more compelling the idea, the longer it bounces around in my brain, demanding to be turned into something concrete. You know it's a great concept when it comes to life on its own and demands to be put down on paper.
