How do you get inspired to write?

Benjamin Haymond I had trouble finding books that I wanted to read. There are only a limited number of books from my favorite authors. To that, I've always loved stories and storytelling. My first story idea started back in 2000 while still in college. But my recent inspiration was driven by my wife who encouraged me to develop stories after she watched me edit course material. I apparently enjoyed it so much that she felt it would be good for me!
