Gary asked Becky Libourel Diamond:

Hi Becky. Did you actually read "The Extraordinary Life of an Ordinary Man" and, if so, what didn't you like about it? I was looking forward to the books release as I'm a big fan of Newman, and the four star-rating was kind of a disappointment. Thanks. - Gary

Becky Libourel Diamond Hi Gary, yes I read it for Bookpage (you can see my full review there later this year). I actually really liked the book! I knew very little about Paul Newman and this definitely gave me some insight on his life. As a Paul Newman fan, I think you would enjoy it. As you know, reviews are subjective. As an author myself, I have been on the other end. Some people seem to really like my books but then give it a 3 star rating. I have to REALLY LOVE something to give it a 5. You might give this a 5 or even a 3. The inside look at Hollywood was fascinating, and also his years in the war, college and early years acting. I think for this to get a 5 from me, I would have liked more on his relationship with his children, and the Newman's Own food business and other philanthropy. It also kind of jumped around a little which made it kind of hard to follow.
