Hello, I just finished The Night She Disappeared you wrote. Loved it! I rated it 5 stars! I was just wondering what made you write mystery books and how you found a publisher you could trust?

April Henry Right after college, someone broke into my apartment when I was in the shower. I managed to escape unharmed, but ever since then I have been fascinated by stories of people in scary situations, wondering what I would do if I were in their situation. Oh, and I used to work at a pizza parlor. You don't find a publisher you can trust, you find an agent, and they find the publisher. Just as long as no one asks you pay THEM, I wouldn't really worry about finding a publisher or agent you can trust.
