How do you get inspired to write?

Crystal LeMar Firstly, my energy, my inspiration, comes from the inequalities that first confronted me as a child. An escape let’s say. I want others to see other possibilities, alternative futures. Secondly, I love crafting emotive landscapes and spaces that readers can immerse themselves in, to feel, smell and explore. Streets, buildings, rooms, down to the tiniest artefacts. All are characters in their own right.
