Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Richard Alan I wanted something short like a novella and under that criteria I picked the first story that jumped out at me. That was my decision.

When I began writing, my characters took over. I had it plotted, but reaching each point turned into a tug-of-war which ultimately spun it into a different genre than I first intended. All in all, we worked well together when looking at the final product.
