How do you get inspired to write?

Ellie Hart Part of it was the bullies at school and part of it is my kids. I've loved escaping into stories when I was a pre-teen, going through the awkward stage. While most of my friends were into "Cosmopolitan" and the mean girls found away to make my life difficult at school, I would escape into creating fantasy stories in backyard, where the princess saved the day.
Now working with my son and helping him deal with Autism, I escape into my characters :)
