How do you get inspired to write?

Alan R. Staples As a non-fiction Christian writer, I get most inspired by scripture that I read. I'm a believer in reading the bible daily. It makes a difference in my approach to life, both personally and professionally. Only then can you experience what people refer to as "living scripture". I can read the same book of the bible this year and in the next year and will come away with different guidance from the scripture. This plants seeds for me that sometimes turn into writing ideas.
