As I stated in my blog, inspiration often comes from unexpected sources. Initially, the owner of a crystal that looks exactly like the "Singer" crystal in the stories sparked a narrative in my mind. Then images and visions of what the end result would be, or needed to be. Of course, music plays such an important part in my life that it is only natural the trilogy I created involved musical themes and powers.
