Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Richlon Merrill That's hard to say. I think it first came from the many topics I researched, wrote about, and taught. My interests came second. I thought of a way to combine evangelism, Biblical apologetics, and creation science within the context of a story line. "Skimming Eternity" was first written as a short story. I wasn't real sure what I would do with it, other than sharing it with friends. My wife suggested it needed to be written as a science fiction novel. A little over a year later, after beginning to write, it was published. I'm still waiting to find out how well it will be received. Some who share my core beliefs, will like it. Others who do not share my world view will despise it.
