How do you get inspired to write?

Susan Illene Peace and quiet helps. I have two boys, 22 months and 5 years old, so I use any quiet time I can get to maximum benefit. On the other hand, I've gotten rather adept at writing while my youngest beats on my office door. The husband is never quick enough to pull him away.
