Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kate Kimbrell As a young adult, Jane Austen and Stephenie Meyer kept me alive with their stories, so this novel is a result of that. I started writing it during NaNoWriMo in 2010 (at 17!) because I wanted a classically romantic piece featuring vampires. It was not until adulthood that I added some of the sexier/darker elements.
