I find writing to be a pleasure which can absorb my mind completely for hours on end on a daily basis . . . For me, the key is to commit to an idea, take the time to come up with a working outline and some character profiles and let loose . . . Writing is a fascinatingly sub-conscious process that takes on a life of its own.
