I have always loved to write, mostly poetry in the beginning.
My first novel was inspired by my husbands battle with PTSD. I used the
novel as a way to ask questions that didn't intimidate him or add to his trauma.
But through these questions he was able to release some of the traumatic events that he encountered in war and held inside for decades.
