I am the administrator for a reading group in the Los Angeles area called The Bookie Babes. We have been together for years. This month we read Lessons in Chemistry and all 12 members gave it thumbs up. We had a rousing discussion. I personally loved so many things: the characters, the story, the mystery and the unabashedly feminist approach! Thank you for such a wonderful read. Will you publish another novel?

Thanks, Judy! (And sorry to be so slow in answering.) I'm so glad you and your book group enjoyed the book. And yes, I'm working on another book--but it'll be a while!

Hi from Canada Bonnie - I am truly in love with Lessons in Chemistry. The truths and how they're spoken. Both laugh out loud funny and also so wrenching. Thank you for writing this. Now my question - at 65, after years on the business side of media, I started a podcast last year called "Getting it Wrong" and would love to invite you to be a guest. Is there an email address I could send a proper invitation? Thank you

Hi there! I’m so excited to read your book. I just have one question and one comment. Why is this considered historical fiction? I understand that it’s set in the 1960s during the beginning of the teasing of feminism but don’t historical events have to be a part of the novel? Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself and it’s full of historical references, and if so, my apologies!

I love the name of your dog, Bonnie. And really liked Six-Thirty and so happy you let him stay!! I also very much loved your novel- Lessons in Chemistry and would like to read more of your books past and present. Can you give me names of any of them so I may get them? My daughter was born in 1960 and eventually graduated with a degree in chemistry--so I can relate along with your story. Keep up the great work .
