Write and read, and write and read some more. Find a trusted group of mean critique partners and listen to what the have to say--especially the parts you don't want to hear. But no matter what anyone says, write your own book, the one you want to tell it--the one only you can tell in your true voice. Don't be in a hurry to publish. Let it simmer. Never publish anything that hasn't been professionally edited.

This isn't a question, but a comment. I loved Khe so much when I read it a few years ago, but didn't read the next books in the series. Maybe they weren't available yet. Anyway, I found Khe on my kindle app when I was looking for a great fantasy book to read, and found that the others are now available to read. I'm very excited. Your world building is amazing. How did you come up with your idea for Khe?
