I absolutely love your books! My favorite one is Better off Friends, its funny, charming, sweet, and just amazing! I was wondering, where did you get the inspiration for Better off Friends?

Hi Emmaline! Thanks so much for your question--so happy you like Better Off Friends! I got the inspiration for the story from a conversation with my editor, David Levithan. He was remarking on a friendship I had written in one of my books between a girl and a guy (Take a Bow) and said, "Have you thought about writing a YA version of 'When Harry Met Sally'?" Which is one of my favorite romcoms! It's the story of a guy and a girl who become very close friends and asks the question Levi and Macallan pose in the beginning of the book: can a girl and a guy just be friends? And I went from there! :)
