The inspiration comes naturally but with heaps and bounds. I've always indulged in escapism. For some, that's roleplaying (which I've done); for others, it's cosplaying or larping (which I haven't), while yet again, others invest their spare time into games (guilty too). I see writing as a productive form of escapism, one which I enjoy thoroughly.
I experience long periods of not having any inspiration at all, but that sudden burst of hyperactivity always comes back where I absolutely MUST finish a story. Maybe I could get that diagnosed, haha?
