How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jessica A. Tanner I typically have writer's block when I'm stressed or emotional. Dealing with my stress and emotions takes many forms: prayer, long walks, gardening, reading something I don't have to think about, just sitting down and putting words on the page, hanging out with a pet, etc. Once I've relaxed, often I can write creatively. What about you?
