Hello! I was wondering, how did you decide who's points of views would be in each book of Heroes of Olympus? Were there times when you chose not to put a character's point of view in and regretted it?
Rick Riordan
Reading between the lines here, I imagine you're asking why Percy and Annabeth didn't have points of view in Blood of Olympus. That was done on purpose, even though I knew many fans would complain. The point of Heroes was to do a series that was NOT all about Percy and Annabeth, and varied the POVs as equally as possible between all the characters. That meant after Percy and Annabeth heavy POVs in House of Hades, it was time to turn away from them and let the others do the talking, especially new POVs from Nico and Reyna. No, I don't regret it. It was the series I wanted to write, and I enjoyed exploring new characters! As I said at the time, if you're only reading Heroes for Percy and Annabeth, you will be disappointed, because it's not all about them. In fact, at the end, that's kind of the whole point (SPOILER) Percy has to step back and let others be the heroes for the mission to succeed!

Hey! I have loved your books for years and your character brought me a lot of comfort when i was fighting for my dyslexia diagnosis. I live in the Uk and summer camps aren't really a thing here (also possible also in wider Europe) and was wondering whether you had any thoughts about what the camp half blood equivalent would be or would the demigods just kinda die over here?
