Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kathleen Helen Lisson As a lymphedema therapist, we guide clients in diaphragmatic breathing as part of their manual lymphatic drainage sessions. We know that stress levels affect how well the body works and stress management is an important part of self care. I was curious to learn about which stress reduction practices have been specifically tested with people with lymphedema. There must be more out there besides deep breathing, right? What about acupuncture, yoga, meditation, pranayama, and other mind-body practices? I started to read published research and YES there is much more than deep breathing! The book Stress Reduction for Lymphedema is a step-by-step how-to guide I put together for my clients with lymphedema.
