How do you get inspired to write?

Ali Marie Usually, I come up with my own ideas on my own. (Sometimes they just pop up in my head!) But when I'm having trouble writing, I remind myself what my childhood self would want for me! Additionally, I usually look to other self-published authors for motivation and ideas if I'm having trouble coming up with some.
