How do you get inspired to write?

Cassidy Hart By sitting at my keyboard! I'm a ghostwriter by trade, so you kind of have to get used to the grind. When I'm really struggling, though, I'll read a book that's in the genre I'm writing in. Make notes of things I really like about it, don't like, pull it to pieces. Let it sit in my mind and see if it sparks anything I can use in my own writing. And let's not forget talking to fellow authors! That always fires me up.
