Just want you to know I have room in my Audible library and an October credit coming up and my thoughts drift wistfully toward Anty Boisjoly. One of my favorite things about each book is that a quirky animal is included as a significant part of the plot and Anty shows a soft spot for them. I wonder which animal will be a part of the next?

Hi Amy,
Thank you very much for this very timely question. It would have been timelier still had I answered it when asked, but I’ve been ill. I’m back now and had planned to celebrate my recovery by announcing that the official release date for the Reckoning at the Riviera Royale audiobook is this Friday, that is to say Friday, 13th of October.
In fact, I still haven’t made the official announcement, so until then, this is the official announcement. Thank you again for this call to action and for listening and reading and appreciating what Anty and I are endeavouring to do out there.

I remain a wholeheartedly devoted fan. I’ve just finished Hardy Haul at Hardy Hall. Your humor is delightful. Anty is my favorite because he reminds me of Lord Peter Whimsey before Harriet, (I love post-Harriet Peter too but they aren’t the same character) but Teddy is growing on me. When will the next novel be?

Reading: Carnaby - "a kilt he'd fashioned for himself out of a clutch of tartan antimacassars. Clan Buchanon, if memory serves." Hmm? Looking up: The Buchanan clan takes its name from the lands of Buchanan in Stirlingshire, Scotland. The name "Buchanan" is derived from the Gaelic "Mac a' Bhuthaichain," meaning "son of the house steward". !!! THIS is why I LOVE your books!!!
