Goodreads asked Kristi Gold:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kristi Gold As my dear sister once told me, "Don't just talk about it, sit down and do it!" That was back in 1992 and I've been at it ever since. While you're writing that first book, don't expect it to be perfect; success comes with trial and error. Be sure to do your homework and make certain you're on track with your target market/publisher, Locate a writers group for your genre and network while you're writing. And after you finish that first book, go ahead and submit it.Then write another, and another and keep going. Publishing a book traditionally is all about perseverance.
