Bob asked Raima Larter:

No question Raima. Read your Clarke review. They say books find you. OK. Ive been sitting on a hardback repub of the two novellas for more than fifty years courtesy of SFBC.As I continually cycle through the old masters (Mainly Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein and Norton with others of our youth tossed in, I have pulled to read within the next six months. Recently finished Imperial Earth. What is your fave Clarke?

Raima Larter Hey Bob! Nice to hear from you. I guess my favorite Clarke would have to be Rendezvous with Rama, although the last time I read it was in college, I think. I did recently re-read Childhood's End and was shocked to see just how many of my interests in adulthood showed up in that book (which I initially read as a teenager, probably). Very depressing, though, so I can't call it a favorite! Reading this little Clarke book was very accidental, and I'm not trying to get through the old ones again - more interested in reading new scifi and discovering new authors!
