Hi Alice, please tell us: How happy is Berta after her move to Cofton Grange?
Alice Coldbreath
Hi Alissa, it took Berta a while to settle in to Cofton Grange, as she she had no sooner started whipping the Hainfroy brothers into shape, than they both took wives and she had two new mistresses to adjust to. As I'm sure you noticed, she's quite the salty type and not one to let things slide if they irritate her.
Knowing she always had a place at Lenora's hearth, she threatened to 'up and leave' whenever anyone annoyed her but she actually ended up enjoying being in the thick of things, and having a ringside seat to all the comings and goings at The Grange.
She grew close to Agnes first, as they bonded over a good old grumble by the fireside, and then Huw and Ivo started approaching her for advice on how to woo their wives. Being in such a position of of authority in the household suited her, and though she rarely admitted it, she grew vastly contented in her new position and was held in high regard by Magda who came to view her as irreplaceable.

Hi Alice! I absolutely LOVE the favourite it is actually my favorite novel from all of your book!! both MCs were so hilarious, affectionate and loving with another!! I was wondering will they ever have a biological child of their own? It seems they are both eager to expand their family but at the same time content with the status quo by forging such a strong friendship and love between each other.

Hello Alice, sorry to ask this again but I was reading The Unlovely bride ( I think for the tenth time ) and wanted to know if I could get an update about your next book, ' Her bridegroom, bought and paid for' ??🙂🙂 Although I love all of your HR books based on medieval time, 'The Unlovely Bride ' is my favourite.
