George L Potter Hi Ric, nice to meet you. The easiest way to get friends on Goodreads is to click on the friends icon at the upper left of your page. You will get a list of your existing friends, and by each of their names is the number of their friends. Click on that number and you will get a list. Opposite their names is a box labeled "Add As A Friend". Check that box and a friend request will be sent to them.
