How do you get inspired to write?

R.S. Barry I've been spinning stories in my head for most of my life. For as long as I can remember, I've struggled with insomnia. As a kid, I started telling myself stories to help me drift off to sleep. At first it was bonus epilogues of how I thought my favorite characters were doing after the story ended. Then it became stories all my own. This trick also helps with crazy Orlando traffic! Now I'm writing my stories down and giving my characters a chance to live on the page.
